We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Medical Receptionist to join a busy healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing outstanding customer service while ensuring efficient front-office operations.

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collect co-pays and process payments
• Manage patient intake forms and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous medical receptionist, healthcare administrative, or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
• Experience using EMR/EHR systems preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Insurance verification experience
• Appointment scheduling experience
• Medical billing knowledge
• Experience working in a physician office, clinic, hospital, urgent care, or specialty practice
